Kanye West was joined by a string orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl in LA last night, as the rapper’s much-anticipated tour of his 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak kicked off.
During the show, which saw guest slots from album contributors Mr Hudson, Kid Cudi and Young Jeezy, Kanye played the album track Bad News live for the first time ever.

As well as that first ever airing, the gig saw Kanye play several other 808s tracks that hadn’t been performed live for over a decade.
It wasn’t all so triumphant though, as Kanye suffered numerous technical difficulties that cost the show momentum.
Reports on social media suggested that Kanye snapped: “stop the track” at one point, at stated that the gig was “the best dress rehearsal I’ve ever had.”
