Glastonbury 2015 was only three short months away, but with tickets for next years festival going on sale this weekend all thoughts are now on who is likely to be headlining the Pyramid Stage in June 2016.

The usual suspects are high up in the bookies’ lists, with the likes of Muse, Adele, Fleetwood Mac and Foo Fighters all looking likely.

Top of the list is Coldplay, who are currently tipped at 4/1 to headline Glastonbury 2016 by William Hill.

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said:

Coldplay could make a welcome return to the Pyramid stage this year and that will no doubt cheer the masses as they wait and refresh their computers on Sunday morning in the race to bag some Glastonbury tickets

Coldplay, who last headline the Worthy Farm festival in 2011, recently debuted a new song live in New York, and are expected to release new album A Head Full Of Dreams before the end of the year.
