Trendy pop/RnB duo AlunaGeorge are gearing up to play perhaps the most unorthodox gig of their career so far tomorrow.
The pair, who are due to release their second album I Remember next month, will play a live gig inside the online game Minecraft.
AlunaGeorge will be joining other bands Broiler and Lemaitre to perform inside the popular block-building game as part of Norwegian tech and gaming event The Gathering.
As the bands play at the event, their movements will be recorded and recreated by special characters in the game – giving fans a unique opportunity to watch them live via the game.
It is expected that the gigs will be viewed by an in-game audience of somewhere between 2,000-3,000 players.
