Coach package tickets for next years Glastonbury Festival went on sale last night (1 October) – and all 15,000 of them sold out in record time.

It took just 20 minutes for the tickets to be hoovered up by eager fans, no doubt spurred on by the fact Glastonbury will be taking a fallow year in 2017.

The record time means that Sunday is likely to be a stressful morning for those trying to get tickets on general sale.

Tickets for this years festival sold out in a record time of just 26 minutes – so if you’re trying to get them on Sunday you probably have less than 25 minutes to get in there and buy your tickets!

Don’t worry if you’re unsuccessful though, as a lot of tickets usually end up being available in the re-sale – which should be in April next year – so there’s always another chance.

Yesterday we reported that Coldplay were favourites to headline next years event, with the likes of Foo Fighters, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, Muse, The Stone Roses and Ed Sheeran all tipped to be performing.

Here’s the current list of odds from William Hill:

Coldplay – 4/1
Adele – 5/1
Foo Fighters – 6/1
Blur – 12/1
AC/DC – 14/1
Fleetwood Mac – 14/1

Ed Sheeran – 20/1
The Stone Roses – 20/1
Bloc Party – 25/1
Daft Punk – 25/1
Oasis – 25/1
Green Day – 33/1
Kate Bush – 33/1
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – 33/1
Radiohead – 33/1
The Rolling Stones – 40/1
